Yes, the domestic cultivation of hemp for commercial use in the U.S. is legal in multiple States across the USA, including Florida for research and product discovery purposes. CBD is abundant in agricultural hemp which, under the Agricultural Act of 2014 or the 2014 Farm Bill, allows for universities and state departments of agriculture to begin cultivating industrial hemp as long as the hemp oil contains less than 0.3% THC by weight, exempting it from the Federal Controlled Substances Act prohibition on marijuana. In the U.S., CBD derived from hemp is considered a dietary supplement and is legal to purchase and ship across the United States. That being said, six states have outlawed CBD at the state level and we cannot ship to those states until further notice: Idaho, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, and West Virginia.
